Erawan Thai Cuisine’s menu is extensive, but a few dishes consistently earn high praise from local Philadelphia patrons and stand out as absolute must-try experiences. These selections showcase the kitchen's mastery of bold, authentic Thai flavors.
The Curries at Erawan are foundational and phenomenal. The **Massaman Curry**, often described as rich, creamy, and having a nice, distinct peanut flavor, is a favorite for its depth and comforting warmth. The **Green Curry**, whether with chicken, seafood, or customized with tofu for a vegan option, is noted for its perfect balance of sweetness and spice. A true indulgence from the Chef's Recommends list is the **Erawan's Crab Curry**, served with thin rice noodles (*Khanom Jeen*) and side herbs. For a slightly different experience, the **Hawaii Curry** offers a unique tropical twist.
For noodle aficionados, Erawan’s offerings are top-tier. While the **Pad Thai** is a reliably popular choice, the **Drunken Noodles** (*Pad Kee Mao*) consistently receive high marks for their spiciness and savory flavor, often hailed as some of the best in the area. Another notable mention is the **Khao Soi**, a traditional Northern Thai coconut curry noodle soup—a complex and deeply flavorful dish that is a welcome rarity on local menus. The optional **Khao Soi Vegan** version, featuring perfectly crispy fried tofu skin, is a revelation for plant-based diners.
The **Appetizers** are an adventure in themselves. The **Green Curry and Roti** is a brilliant starter, with the fresh, flaky Roti bread serving as the perfect scoop for the fragrant curry. Customers also rave about the unique **Philly Cheese Roll** and the exquisite **Thai Basil Ravioli**, a fusion dish that seamlessly blends tender ravioli with a perfect red curry sauce.
Finally, no visit is complete without sampling the signature salads and beverages. The **Som Tum Thai** (Papaya Salad) and the **Yum Neua Yang** (Grilled Beef Salad) are celebrated for their incredible freshness and balanced tangy-spicy dressing. To wash it all down, the homemade **Limeade** is incredibly refreshing on a hot day, and the creamy, traditional **Thai Iced Tea** is a sweet classic. For a truly luxurious end, order the traditional **Mango Sticky Rice** or the comforting **Salty Caramel Bread Pudding** from the Winter Menu. Erawan Thai Cuisine is where quality, flavor, and attentive service come together to create an unforgettable dining experience in the heart of Pennsylvania.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Like so many other places, I’ve driven past this restaurant many times and actually never took notice to it until a friend told me about it today so we decided to go on a nice hot summer day. I thought it would be the perfect place to relax we actually found parking on the side street, when we walked in, we were immediately greeted by our host and server. Lance immediately sat us down, Lance is an excellent host and a great server and was there every step of the way for us with suggestions,We decided to go full on vegan, even though my friend is not vegan. She opted in. We ordered the green curry roti, which was amazing. I’ve never had roti bread. This was freshly done to order in the green curry with tofu was a perfect balance of a little sweetness and spicy with tender chunks of tofu in every bite. The next dish we had was the Massaman curry this is Rich creamy and had a nice peanut flavor to it, we polished off both of these dishes and we’re scraping the bottom to get as much sauce as possible. It was so delicious.Another appetizer and on the special menu, we ordered the Thai basil ravioli, which is stuffed with tofu, basil, herbs, and served in a red curry sauce. I’ve never had anything like this. The ravioli was absolutely perfect, tender, not rubbery, filled with tofu, basil, and herbs, and the sauce was just so perfect . I would’ve liked to had some more roti bread clean the rest of the plate with.Main course we had the Khao Soi VeganThis is a traditional dish made with vegan ingredients, wheat noodles top with crispy fried tofu skin, which I’ve never had before, and it was excellent serve in a coconut curry broth. The tofu chunks were done, perfectly crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and a tofu skin almost had a little sweetness to it, and they were tied in Bows, the noodles were done perfectly also for a refreshing beverage we ordered a couple of iced limeade, refreshing on such a hot dayThe restaurant itself is very nice and they had a great selection of music in the background very relaxing our server lands again. I couldn’t say enough about what a great guy we will be back eventually this is an absolute five star for me.
June 22 · KingVeganWe stopped in for dinner and had several signature Thai dishes. The papaya salad was amazing here along with the beef salad. The fried fish and curry was underwhelming though. Tried several other dishes as well. Service was great. Definitely recommend.
March 30 · Mysee ChangOur first time . Date with my wife. She enjoyed her meal. Butternut squash, curryI had the sweet-and-sour chicken
September 01 · Ron EnglishI have come here many times and it never disappoints! Truly the best pad Thai I have ever found.
September 05 · Jade MartinAbsolutely delicious food with incredibly warm customer service. The service was a little slow but only because it was one man working incredibly hard. He was so kind, friendly, and accommodating of our requests! We got the red curry and drunken noodles with tofu and pad see ew with chicken. We also got a Thai iced coffee and Thai iced tea. Everything was great. I especially liked that the drinks were not too sweet. The food was a little less spicy than I’d have expected, but wonderfully aromatic and enjoyable. The tofu in particular is perfectly crispy on the outside and soft, fluffy, and flavorful on the inside.
