★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This is the most authentic Thai restaurant in NY. The dishes and flavors were so unique and the servers were so friendly and attentive.Food wise, they have a nice variety of spicy and non-spicy dishes. We tried their friend chicken and crab curry, and both were outstanding.Their Thai ice tea was also very yummy, you can tell that it was made with real tea leaves and not powder.Looking forward to visit again and try the other things on their menu!
September 29 · Lawrence FuAimmie was a great helper that guided us for house specials! We ordered beef curry, sweet pork and fried fish. All very tasty, especially the curry is authentic and the spicy level is just right. Plus very cute cups for the drinks!
August 23 · Haolun Liuthis place is indeed really really amazing. our food was amazing, and pretty spicy: we only got one item that was listed as the least spicy, and it wasn't too bad, but it was still pretty spicy. they can't change spice levels, and most items are spicy, so only go here if you can at least handle some spice! food tasted great, some of the best seafood I've ever had tbh.however, I will say: this place is very small, and you will most probably have to make a reservation or wait a bit for a table, and the prices are VERY HIGH. more than doubled what you'd normally pay for the dish. it's up to you to decide whether that's worth it for you, but me personally, I'd only go once just to try it.
July 16 · Isaiah TongI recently dined at Hungry Thirsty, and while the experience was okay overall, I felt that the flavors were a bit overpowering—some dishes were too salty, others too sweet. I’ve visited in the past and honestly preferred the older menu; the balance of flavors seemed better back then.Service was just alright—we had to ask for white rice more than four times before it finally arrived. I understand they may have been busy, so I appreciate the effort. Still, I hope to see some improvements going forward, both in flavor and service.
June 03 · Pack KatisomsakulI’m from Philly, and I came all the way to Brooklyn just to try Hungry Thirsty and let me tell you, it was so worth it! The food blew me away with its authentic Thai flavors, but what really sets this place apart is the menu. They offer unique local Thai dishes that you just don’t see at most Thai restaurants. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, the cozy, welcoming vibe and super friendly staff made the experience even better. If you’re looking for something beyond the typical Thai spot, Hungry Thirsty is a true hidden gem. I’d make the trip again in a heartbeat!
