The restaurant delivers an unforgettable combination of high-quality, inventive cuisine and a sophisticated yet inclusive atmosphere. You are choosing a place recognized by the Michelin Guide and acclaimed by local critics for its exceptional, bold flavors.
However, prospective diners must be aware of an isolated but severe customer complaint regarding table service, where a manager's conduct was described as "malicious and highly disrespectful" after a patron's unfinished meal was bussed and removed prematurely. While this appears to be an unusual lapse against a backdrop of otherwise "incredible" and "very friendly" service, it serves as a reminder to communicate clearly with staff if you step away from your table.
Ultimately, New Yorkers should choose Untable for its creative mastery of authentic Thai spices, its standout cocktail menu, and the vibrant, welcoming ambiance that makes it a perfect setting for both a Romantic date night and a relaxed Family-Friendly outing. It’s an essential Brooklyn stop for anyone looking to experience the future of Thai cuisine.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Came in on October 6, 2023 when it first opened. Apologies for the way delayed review. However this restaurant which seems to be a great addition to the neighborhood has stuck with me for a while now.The food is stellar, the service and the issue I had has stuck with me for years. The food is delicious however they do not let you finish it.On my last visit everything went well up until I had to use the restroom halfway through eating my final course. Upon returning to my seat I found that my food had been bussed and removed. I went to complain and all the manager did was giggle in my face and say “I thought you left oopsie”. Which makes no sense as I had had yet to pay. This was a truly malicious and highly disrespectful as it did not happen to any other diner while I was there. As much as I want to return. I will not since they don’t let you eat what you pay for.
September 22 · Jakob GrabelOne of the best meals I've had in a while! Service was also incredible, they were very friendly.Highlights were the unspoken cocktail, the vegetable soup and a chilean seabass in banana leaf that was a daily special.
July 19 · Veena AdvaniThis is the kind of restaurant that makes NYC so special. Very accessible price point that still gets you world class food and cocktails in a casual atmosphere that can still feel like an occasion. The beef noodles were rich and the scallops perfectly pan-seared atop the risotto. Will absolutely be back, as there are so many other delicious-sounding dishes to try.
April 14 · Daniel BoerStopped by for lunch with a friend and instantly wished we’d come with a larger party. The menu is extensive (even without the seasonal specials) and every item (from food to drinks) sounds so interesting. This is not exactly traditional Thai (Tom Kha Risotto was one of the specials we tried); however, all the flavors are definitely there - coconutty, spicy, acidic, funky. Service was great, restaurant itself is cozy and fun, seems like a great spot to walk in for a treat yourself kind of meal if you’re in the neighborhood.
February 01 · Aubrey VinhCute Thai spot with a very unique spin on Thai food and spices.Appetizers:- okra was excellent and well worth it- ceviche was delicious albeit extremely spicy; the pepper could burn you!- the crab croquette were very goodEntrees:- delicious spaghetti! loved the protein and taste- risotto was good; nothing mind blowing and the scallops were a bit small and dryCocktails were fun and the bar was well stocked. Liquid forward and well worth trying.Excellent Thai in the neighborhood that I would go to again. Spaghetti is a must and next time I try the rice.
