★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Asked a local for a recommendation for dinner one night, and without hesitation, Sabai was named. Got the chicken pad thai, even though I am hesitant to order it at Thai restaurants because it's often too sweet for me. Since they were out of the edamame appetizer (& I was craving veggies), the server suggested adding a few extra veggies to the dish. The result was a flavorful (& not too sweet), veggie-rich meal which I heartily enjoyed (& ate every bit). It was quiet when I went, and I sat at a window seat with plenty to watch as I dined. The atmosphere was quiet, relaxed, and friendly, and I thanked my friend for the suggestion. I will be sure to re-visit when I'm back in town again. A great addition to Middlebury!
July 11 · Jen HLove that there’s good Thai food in Middlebury. Ordered shrimp tempura and spicy crab hand rolls, shrimp fresh rolls, chicken satay, pineapple fried rice, and massaman curry. The only dish I can’t recommend is the chicken satay—it’s just not enough chicken—everything else was great.
May 12 · Jared HatchFirst time eating here and I had the yellow curry with chicken. I asked for not spicy and it still had a bit of a kick but that's ok, it tasted great. One friend had chicken and broccoli with peanut sauce and she said it was very good. My other friend had the spicy fried rice. She asked for "regular" spicy but said it didn't have any spice at all, which was surprising considering the name. And my friend said the strawberry lemonade was delicious! All in all, it was a great dinner with excellent service and we will definitely be going back again!
August 14 · Brent & Heather SimonsThis was a lovely place with good food. They accomidated our large group and always kept watch on the water. I ordered a California Poke Bowl, which had very fresh ingredients and a lovely spicy mayo sauce. My friend loved the mango sticky rice. Very nice staff(thank you Ashley!!) Would definitely recommend!
September 21 · Anastasia LiapkovichEasily one of the best thai restaurants I've had! Medium spiced veggie/tofu pad thai was absolutely amazing. Egg roll appetizer was great as well.
