Tiny Thai Restaurant Introduce
Tiny Thai Restaurant, nestled in the vibrant heart of Winooski, Vermont, is a culinary institution widely recognized across the state for delivering a genuinely authentic Thai dining experience. This popular eatery has transcended its name to become one of the region's most celebrated Southeast Asian restaurants, often voted as a favorite by Vermonters. The atmosphere is casual, cozy, and often trendy, attracting a diverse crowd including college students, families, and groups, and is noted as both LGBTQ+ friendly and a transgender safe space. The restaurant's popularity is evident; while the service is known to be fast, be prepared for a wait, especially during peak dinner hours, as many patrons consider the experience well worth the time. The menu expertly balances familiar staples, such as Pad Thai and various curries, with more unique, bold, and spicy options featured on a dedicated “Genuine Thai Menu.” This commitment to authentic and diverse flavors, combined with a clear focus on customer service—even when busy—makes Tiny Thai a cornerstone of Winooski's dining scene.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My first time there, it's Friday at 6pm and I get the last open table. At 7, there was a 45 min wait time! People love this place here. I sat next to a couple in their 50s who drove 2h to eat here! The atmosphere is great, people are friendly, happy, young clean couples and groups. The server is busy but very nice when he stops at our table. He recommends the spring rolls since we wanted something fast. The service was fast considering the place was packed. The vegetable pad Thai was sweet (maybe too much for me) and there was an after taste I didn't like (maybe an oil). My partner got a Chef's Vegetable Stir Fry. The portion was generous and there were a lot of vegetables.
March 21 · RoBearI’ve eaten a lot of Thai food in the US, but never like Tiny Thai. The items on the back page of the menu are worth the experience for something more unique. This time, I tried the Kwit Teo Pad Cha and loved every bite of chili, fresh peppercorn, and basil along with the seafood and wide noodles.
June 22 · Rabi VandergonRarely eat in, usually get takeout. Meals are packed very securely, I’ve never had any spillage on the way home. The Massaman curry with shrimp is my favorite, the taste is amazing. The Pad Thai is also delicious but heed the warnings and pepper ratings from 1 to 3 onthe menu. I have only tried up to a 2 pepper rating and that was plenty for me
September 24 · John HyattTiny Thai has quickly become my favorite restaurant in the county. I can't believe it took me so long to give this spot a try, but after my first dinner there, I was hooked—I even went back the following weekend because it was that incredible. The menu offers an amazing variety with well-labeled dishes, and nearly everything can be modified to accommodate dietary or allergy needs. Although it's BYOB, they provide ice water, which came in handy when I forgot to bring my own. The interior is charming, though it seems many customers opt for takeout. The food is prepared shortly after you order, and the appetizer menu is packed with classics, each paired with a variety of delectable sauces. The vegetables are fresh, the spices and sauces are out of this world, and the proteins are top-notch. For my vegan friends, they offer tofu and vegan duck, while their chicken, shrimp, and duck have all been incredibly impressive. So far, I've tried the ginger duck and the pad prik pao with duck—both were absolutely mind-blowing.The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the generous portions you get. I honestly can't say enough good things about Tiny Thai. You simply have to try it.
August 21 · Philip YazbakBest Thai food I’ve had in a long time! This place truly lives up to its reputation. The Tom Yum soup was perfectly spiced, with tender shrimp and plenty of fresh mint and coriander. The shrimp appetizer was full of flavor, and the mains were just as impressive. Excellent service. Highly recommended.
