One dish that truly stood out was the Tum Khao Pod hands down my favorite salad of the night! 🥗💚Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a delicious meal paired with top-tier service in a stunning setting. The first of its kind Thai BBQ done right! 🇹🇭🍽️✨
October 17 · Sherry ChenI recently visited Unglo, a Thai BBQ spot near the Upper West Side, with friends during the Mid-Autumn Festival. It’s recently earned a Michelin recommendation, and we were really excited to try it!The A5 Wagyu is a must-order—its marbling is incredibly fine and delicate. The staff mentioned that the beef is hand-cut to order. The quality is exceptional; just a quick sear, a sprinkle of salt and pepper, and it practically melts in your mouth. Pure bliss!I also loved the Wagyu fried rice. The beef cubes were seared to perfection—crispy on the outside, tender inside—paired with Thai-style fried rice. A squeeze of lime added a refreshing twist, though it was slightly on the saltier side. Around the grill, there’s a moat-style hot pot for cooking vegetables. The fresh veggies balanced the richness of the grilled meat perfectly and helped cut through the heaviness. What impressed me most was their attention to detail: the grill uses Fuji volcanic stones, and the custom copper BBQ pan, designed by the chef, ensures superb heat conduction, unlocking deep, layered flavors in the meat. With such dedication, I wouldn’t be surprised if they earn a Michelin star next year!
October 07 · Summer SummerHands down one of the best Thai BBQ experiences I've had! The Premium Beef Set was absolutely mouth-watering, with tender, juicy slices of beef grilled to perfection. I ordered with the noodles spicy salad appetizer, which had just the right kick, the meal was a flavor explosion. The quality of the beef and the freshness of the ingredients really shone through. I also got Bloody blade super creative watermelon cocktail. Thanks to Ak and Gug my helpful and very attentive server. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic and delicious Thai BBQ experience!
September 22 · thawat kaewkoonTried the new Thai BBQ near Lincoln Center from the Chalong and Soothr team. Probably the first Thai hotpot in Manhattan and it’s so fun to eat. The pork belly and brisket were both juicy and flavorful, and the beef tongue was super fresh. Loved the salted egg corn salad and the scallop crudo with a little numbing kick. The yogurt ice cream was light and refreshing. Everything was great!!
