The fundamental draw is the mastery of a simple concept: high-quality, flavorful Thai-style chicken and rice, delivered quickly and affordably. The entire Signature Plates menu is priced under $13, which is an exceptional value for a satisfying meal in this highly-priced area of Manhattan.
The consistently positive feedback, particularly about the grilled chicken with ginger rice and its "packed with flavor" sauce, highlights the quality of the core product. The inclusion of a complimentary, comforting soup with the meal adds significant value and is a much-appreciated detail. For the busy New York professional, the fast service and the availability of quick, healthy, and comfort food options make it an ideal daily lunch spot.
While one customer review noted mixed feelings about the table service model (suggesting a preference for counter service to save on tipping), the overwhelming feedback praises the staff's kindness and attentiveness, such as constant water refills, indicating a high level of customer care. Ultimately, the reputation as an "extremely underrated" and favorite fast-casual spot, combined with the excellent price point, fresh ingredients, and prime location, makes Three Roosters a highly recommendable destination for a satisfying and value-driven Thai meal in the city.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Three Roosters is extremely underrated. It’s one of my favorite fast casual spots in all of Manhattan. I always get the grilled chicken with ginger rice. The portions are perfect, and the sauce that comes with it is packed with flavor. It also comes with a soup that’s super delicious and comforting. If you order through Uber Eats, I believe your meal even includes a free drink, which is a nice bonus. The food is fresh, satisfying, and consistently great. Highly recommend!
October 12 · Richard MoragaNot much to say on the food. It's solid. I got the fried chicken plate with dark meat, soup and ginger rice. Everything was perfectly fine, just not as special as advertised. Not a ton of flavor going on. The seasoning on the fries was pretty tasty though, especially with the scallions.Staff was extremely kind from the moment I walked in, and constantly refilled my water cup, which I appreciated. However, this place really shouldn't be operated as a table service restaurant. There's no need for it. I'd guess most people would prefer counter service to avoid the tip, myself included. The value for the food is lost with the added service cost. So, mixed thoughts. Give it a try for yourself though.
October 12 · AlexanderThis place is so underrated. Amazing Thai chicken 3 ways (poached, grilled and fried). The poached was perfectly executed and so delicious and beats our favorite version of this dish. So so so goodThen came the dried chicken and we were blown away. Perfect crunch while chicken was still juicyService was fast efficient and friendly.Great experience here. Can't wait to be back!
August 17 · O MStopped in here for a quick lunch. Small spot with a few tables. Relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Ordered the fried chicken Sando with a Thai iced tea. The sandwich was just the right amount of spice. Good try on the chicken. Seasoned well. Iced tea wasn't too sweet which it tends to be. The service was pleasant and quick. Definitely coming back to try other things on the menu.
January 26 · Ms Vee4.5/5 Zab Fried Chicken - a must order! The chicken is fried super crispy and their spice blend with the bright citrusty zing is so good! The sweet spicy tamarind sauce pairs perfectly.3.5/5 Poached Chicken -- the chicken itself was quite dry and bland, but the sauce was great with it! Wished the ginger rice had a bit more flavor.4/5 Thai Ice Tea -- solid and authentic, we've had better in city however
