★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I've never been so excited to discover a new Thai restaurant. This came as a recommendation to me and I was looking forward to try but managed my expectations a bit because my bar for Thai food is sky high (having traveled to Thailand more than 3 times now just to eat and also took 3 culinary courses!).Finally placed my order for delivery and my initial verdict is it's fantastic. Pad Thai (with Chicken) was excellent and not doused in sweetness which is what other restaurants do sometimes. Panang Curry Beef was so tender and they made it Thai spicy per my request. I know how to make this and their version is a winner! Also ordered the 4 pork skewers and it's such a steal for $10. Perfect with the sauce to dip it in.Fantastic prices and portions so far. Please keep it that way! Looking forward to dine in soon to get a feel of the actual restaurant's vibe, warmth and service, plus I have my eye on other dishes such as Crispy Pork Belly stir fried w/ Basil, Mango Sticky rice, and Thai iced tea of course! Really impressed with my first order tonight and hope to be wowed more in person soon to round this up to 5 stars! :)
July 13 · Joanne Uy (JT)Came here on a weekday for lunch and was impressed by the great lunch specials—one appetizer, one main, and a dessert. Decent portion and the price point is good given I could sample a few items. The food was delicious, with thoughtful attention to flavor and texture. The rice was especially fragrant and fresh. Service was warm and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back to try more dishes!
May 03 · Y YangI can’t explain enough how delicious this place. The khao na neua (ribeye rice dish), pad see ew (rice noodle dish), kui chai (fried chive pancakes) and the panang curry (with duck and rice). Will 100% keep ordering Thai from this restaurant only. Also, the man that works there regularly is the nicest!
June 01 · Nicole HudiburgAmazing food, some of the best I’ve had outside Thailand. Lovely and friendly waiter. Only let down was that there was almost no on there on a Thursday night at 7pm - get down there, people! This place cannot close!
May 15 · charlotte tEverything was so freshly made here and each item was delicious! The lunch special offers an appetizer, main dish and dessert and there’s a carafe of lemon water on your table as well.I had the chicken pad see ew and it was great: crunchy Chinese broccoli, the chicken was flavored very well and the noodles were perfectly cooked. The scallion pancake appetizer was so yummy (again, super fresh). And the dessert was a sweet rice cake and I don’t typically like rice cakes but this one was so enjoyable. I ate every last bite.I can’t necessarily speak to the atmosphere because I was one of two people there for an early lunch, but the service was spectacular. The gentleman who brought my food was very attentive and kind. The interior of the space is so unique and I love what they did with the distressed brick walls and exterior colors and traditional look. Even the plates that they use to serve food are super cute. There’s also an 8-seat high-top in the back that I hope to sit at for my next Book Club meeting. I’d highly recommend this place for a quaint and delicious meal in a beautifully serene part of Astoria.
