★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Absolutely delicious!! The sweet and sour sauce dripped over the meatballs definitely made the meal! We also had the pork fried rice, that had a punch of spice! 💥 to compliment our meal refreshing Thai iced tea!!!Beautiful atmosphere. Outdoor patio has the beautiful water as its backdrop and our Pupster JB enjoyed a walk around
October 13 · Dorothy ElizabethI am absolutely astounded by the regularity and consistency of this restaurant. It doesn’t matter what time of year you come to Sambal; the food and the service are impeccable . I bring everyone, family, friends—from my foodie friends to my picky friends — no matter the eating needs (even allergies to an extent!) everyone finds the best meal and perfect taste! And the staff from A to Z are so friendly, courteous and kind! They take care to make sure you have exactly what you’re looking for and always want to make you smile and enjoy your time! 10/10 every single time!
August 22 · DennyI have mixed feelings. Location is fantastic as it's right on the water, view seating in terrace is awesome, wide open water + bridge view. Food tasted fine. I had spring roll that was delicious. I ordered kee mao, tasted fine but I was taken aback at the way it came. It's not a very cheap menu so was shocked that my entree literally looked like it was thrown in on the plate very messy so really looked like something I would have thrown onto the plate at home if I was in a hurry. Wait staff was friendly but did not come around to refill water and trying to ask for extra utensils, had to wait quite a while when place was half empty. Initially I wanted to sit inside because it was too hot outside, then I quickly changed my mind & went outside as tables and seats in the inside were very dusty. I'm not sure if I would return, view and huge parking lot is a plus but not sure the quality is there compared to it's price as I paid over $30 for the appetizer & entree for 1 person
October 01 · Serenity 333I have been coming to this restaurant for years & the quality of the food & service have significantly improved. Aldi was our waiter tonight, he was friendly, courteous & took very nice photos of us. Typically, I’ve come here With my family during the winter months & have sat inside. The lamb stew dish is very succulent & heart warming, perfect for cold, winter nights. Tonight we had a beautiful summer day and absolutely love sitting on the outside Terrace enjoying the beautiful sunset 🌅 over the Hudson River.I had the duck speciality served with the coconut sauce, pineapple & vegetables. My friends had two vegetarian dishes with very flavorful sauces. The coconut sauce with the duck was delicious, just the right amount of spice which soaked up nicely with the vegetables & rice. My friends absolutely loved this place & we had a fabulous time!
July 11 · Marcela De La PavaA little hidden gem on the Hudson River! The food is perfectly cooked. The server is polite and happy. Music is upbeat, not loud. The view is incredible, peaceful. Birds on the Hudson. They have lunch and happy hour specials. Very clean. So fun!
