Kati Shop Introduce
For New Yorkers seeking a flavorful, fast, and remarkably fresh dining experience, look no further than Kati Shop. Situated in the bustling Midtown East neighborhood, Kati Shop has carved out a loyal following by offering a modern, healthy take on traditional Thai cuisine, specializing in build-your-own curry and rice or salad bowls. This establishment has become a go-to spot for office workers and locals alike, primarily celebrated for its commitment to **clean, high-quality ingredients**, including natural, antibiotic-free meats and organic tofu. It stands out in the competitive NYC food scene as a place where speed and flavor don't come at the expense of dietary needs, proudly featuring extensive **gluten-free and vegan options** that are clearly labeled. Whether you're rushing back to the office or looking for a casual dinner spot with a vibrant, modern atmosphere, Kati Shop promises an authentic and satisfying taste of Thai curries, often praised by customers as some of the best outside of Thailand.
The unique concept centers around a flexible menu that allows diners to customize their meals. This build-your-own approach lets you select your base (like Jasmine Rice, Thai Brown Rice/Rice Berry, or mixed salad), your protein (such as Lemongrass Chicken, Coriander Steak, Grilled Salmon, or Baked Sesame Tofu), and your preferred curry. This ensures every meal is tailored to both taste and dietary requirements. Kati Shop is a fantastic option for those who prioritize **healthy eating, quick service**, and authentic, robust flavors for both lunch and dinner.
The emphasis on fresh ingredients is evident in every bite. From the grass-fed, antibiotic-free Sirloin beef in the Coriander Steak to the daily-cut salmon, quality is a non-negotiable standard. The curries themselves—ranging from the mild and creamy **Massaman Curry** to the fiery, Southern Thai-style **Kati Signature Curry**—are made fresh daily, capturing the complex, aromatic essence of real Thai spices. This dedication to authentic preparation and customization is why so many Manhattan residents consider Kati Shop a reliable and exciting part of their weekly dining routine.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Good option for office lunch because the operation is fast and the taste is decent. You get to choose the bowl base (rice or salad), protein, 2 sides, and curry type. If you come late, some sides might be sold out. I do think it is weird to eat curry rice with mashed potatoes, but green bean was sold out lol. The curry sauce is good.
August 22 · Uyen NguyenHave eaten here over a dozen times but all take out. The food is delicious, allergen friendly and tastes clean n fresh. The coriander steak and salmon is 🔥 chicken is meh. The wild berry rice is what I always order and you should too. Trust me, skip the white rice if ordering take out. The mushrooms are incredible, sweet potatoes and kale salad are awesome, mashed potatoes is aight. As for the sauces, I prefer the 🥵 Kati signature and it is absolutely 🔥. The milder green curry is good as well. If you are in mood for clean Thai food, this is the place to go.
November 18 · Yatin PradhanFood is amazing. Would love to have it everyday if you open in UES
August 19 · nattha ChenWe finally made it here after trying for the last couple of years (timing just never worked out). The meals are very good and staff I excellent. It was a nice lunch and a chance to get my Thai food fix. I got the chicken with Massaman curry and the cucumber salad with the sweet potatoes. My husband got the coriander steak and green curry with the mashed potatoes and sweet potato. Both were great. I wish I had done the red curry but I was not in the mood for spicy but the sample was good. The massaman curry was on the sweet side but not bad.Def a different lunch in a city full of good food.
March 16 · Stephen R (เท่ห์)Food was good, but the service left more to be desired. It was my first time there and I needed a little more time to order but I felt so rushed. (Note: I was the only person on the line. This was after lunch rush and a little before dinner rush). At one point, they asked me what sides I wanted and the server said, “Sorry, I can’t hear you” and then pushed my food to the next server to help me complete my order. I do have a quiet voice but I felt that was a little rude. But I got over it. I paid for my food and drink, and I even tipped! While I was eating my food, I noticed that the servers were greeting and saying bye to other customers but they never greeted me. When I finally finished my food, they didn’t say bye to me either or “khop khun ka” (which they had said to a non-Thai person who left). I don’t care about not being greeted or workers not saying thank you but when it only happens to me, I find it off-putting. I was also the only non-Asian brown person in the restaurant. I don’t want to assume anything but you get the picture… It’s not like I was rude. I greeted them and also thanked them for the food.I ordered the massaman curry and it was a tinge spicy but nothing unbearable. Just a warning for those who may be sensitive to spicy foods. It was good though!
