Little Tiffin Introduce
For New Yorkers seeking a true taste of Thailand in the heart of Brooklyn, Little Tiffin offers an authentic and deeply personal dining experience. Located in the vibrant Greenpoint neighborhood, this Thai restaurant is celebrated for honoring traditional home-style cooking, with recipes inspired by the owner’s grandmother, a former chef for Thai royalty in Chiang Mai. The name itself—"Tiffin"—is a British expression for a light midday meal, perfectly reflecting the restaurant’s casual, cozy, and food-focused approach.
Little Tiffin rises above the typical Thai takeout spot by providing a menu rich with regional specialties and an atmosphere that transports diners. The kitchen masterfully executes familiar favorites like Pad Thai and Green Curry, while also introducing Brooklynites to more unique and intense flavors from Southern Thailand, such as the famous Kua Gling preparations. Guests consistently praise the "really tasty Thai food with authentic flavors" and the excellent blend of sweet and sour in their soups, making it a beloved local bite.
The ambiance is a unique highlight, described as cozy, with interesting photographs from Thailand adorning the walls and an upbeat soundtrack of 70s Thai music, contributing to a warm, intimate, and authentic setting. The venue prides itself on being a welcoming space for all, clearly identifying as family-friendly, LGBTQ+ friendly, and a transgender safespace, ensuring every diner feels comfortable.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Really tasty Thai food with authentic flavors. We got a variety of entrees and shared which was a good move. The restaurant doesn’t have good AC, so be ready for that. Spice + no AC is a tough combination.Definitely recommend for a local bite
June 29 · Kamy ChongI’ll start by saying I don’t really like Thai food. I don’t like the smell of fish sauce, and I usually find the noodles too thick. But my foodie wife loves this place, and another couple wanted to try it, so we met there. My wife says their soup is the best in the area, a perfect blend of sweet and sour. I’m on a diet, but the mango sticky rice looked amazing. They’re getting five stars because I love the ambiance: cozy, with space for our stroller, upbeat Thai music from the 70s, and interesting photographs from Thailand on the walls. Our server even took our picture twice. So even though I don’t like Thai food, this was a very pleasant experience, and if you do like Thai food, it will probably be even better.
May 11 · Craig MussmanWasn’t a huge fan of thai until this place! flavor was incredible the noodles were textured perfectly and I loved the vibe inside! I really recommend the Lychee soda for a good non alcoholic alternative!
July 27 · Lauren RoperWe came here today for dinner and loved it. Definitely recommend to try the morning glory side dish, it's yummy with a lot of flavor. Also got the Pad See Ew and Coconut Crab curry (not pictured) and we loved everything. Will definitely return again to try more goodies.
June 01 · Eleonora KukuyNew instant favorite! Food was amazing, plus kind servers and a cozy ambiance. I got the Kua Gling Moo Grob and it was incredible (they kindly made it slightly less spicy for me, ha!) Loved the option for a pot of tea, too.I miss my leftovers :(Will absolutely be back :)
