## What is Worth Choosing
For Connecticut diners approaching **East-West Grille on Wheels**, the exciting fusion of Thai and Laotian cuisines provides several tempting options that are certainly worth trying. The item that received specific high praise is the **spicy pork banh mi sandwich**. This choice represents the best of the "East-West" concept, blending the Vietnamese banh mi format with perfectly seasoned pork, resulting in a unique and satisfying street food experience that is both flavorful and generously portioned.
However, the menu is far broader than just sandwiches. Those looking for authentic Thai fare should look to the highly-anticipated **pad Thai**, a classic noodle dish that promises to deliver the sweet, sour, and savory balance Thai cuisine is known for. For a taste of the Laotian side of the menu, the **Laotian fried rice** and the **Laotian sausage and sticky rice** come highly recommended by enthusiastic patrons planning their next visit. The combination of the richly seasoned sausage and traditional sticky rice provides a true taste of Laos that is hard to find in many standard Asian restaurants in the area.
The diverse selection of starters also makes it an excellent choice for a **Small plates** approach. Options include crispy **egg rolls**, flavorful dumplings, and the fresh, spicy crunch of **papaya salad**. These small plates are perfect for a **Quick bite** or for mixing and matching a variety of flavors. Given the nature of a food truck, the focus is on quick turnaround and high flavor density, ensuring that any choice made from the menu—from Thai favorites to Laotian specialties or fusion items—will be delivered with **Fast service** and great taste, making **East-West Grille on Wheels** a highly valuable and sought-after dining option in West Hartford, CT.

East-West Grille on Wheels Reviews
East-West Grille used to be a brick and mortar; they're now a food truck. They serve Thai and Laotion food. The first time I've seen them was at Gastro Park in West Hartford. They pulled up in the early afternoon. I had just ordered at another food truck but had to try them out also. The menu had a mix of different types of Asian food; from egg rolls, dumplings, papaya salad, pad Thai, Laotion fried rice, and boba tea to name a few. I decided to get the spicy pork banh mi sandwich which was really good! It had the right amount of meat and toppings. Next time, I look forward to trying the pad Thai and the Laotion sausage and sticky rice. The service was good and so was the food I got this time.
