Choosing One Two Thai means prioritizing efficiency and variety in the heart of Manhattan. The most compelling reason to choose this restaurant is the stellar value and speed offered by its extensive Lunch Specials ($13.50). For anyone working in or visiting Midtown East, securing a quick, delicious, and well-priced meal is essential, and One Two Thai delivers a dozen different authentic Thai lunch options that satisfy this critical need. The popularity of its noodle dishes—especially Drunken Noodle and Pad See Ew—among patrons confirms the quality of these kitchen staples.
Beyond the lunchtime hustle, the restaurant is a fantastic choice for a casual dinner. The atmosphere is cozy, making it suitable for both a relaxed evening with "Groups" or a comfortable experience for "Solo dining." The menu depth, from the essential Tom Yum Soup ($7.99) to the rich Massaman Roti ($11.99) appetizer, ensures repeat visits will always lead to a new discovery. Furthermore, the inclusion of Alcohol, Beer, and Wine makes it an easy one-stop location for a full dining and beverage experience.
While some customer feedback mentioned issues with portioning and order accuracy, the overall sentiment highlights the delicious food, good prices, and, critically, very quick service. The positive reception of appetizers like the Shumai and the general reputation for fast delivery and great taste outweigh minor service hiccups in the competitive Manhattan market. For a genuinely tasty, conveniently located, and well-priced Thai meal, One Two Thai is a highly recommended and reliable choice that understands the demanding rhythm of New York life.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I ordered from Uber Eats yesterday, and there was a “buy one get one free” deal for Thai iced tea, but they only sent me one.For the red curry, they charged an extra $3 for chicken — which I’m usually okay with — but getting only 4 pieces of chicken is not acceptable. This was the worst Thai food experience I’ve had. I definitely do not recommend it. There are cheaper and much better places around. For $33, I expected a lot more than just a red curry and an iced tea.
August 06 · Bengüsu ARSLANMy favorite was the shumai. Overall very quick service and delicious food. Good prices as well.
October 06 · Christopher YandellGreat place, a great owner who is from there and likes small talk and is super nice. Food was delicious were I recommend having pad Thai and the pineapple fried rice. Really come if you visit New York you won’t forget it. It’s a small place but don’t judge a book by its cover. Great sight of the Empire State Building . I’ve been in Thailand and it’s that level . Has Thai chefs and cooks and great atmosphere where I found the screen with Thai places very well done and executed. The prices are the BEST in the range you can have 4 pad thais for only $60
April 12 · Esther RodríguezThey served me beef noodles after I ordered mock duck. I waited forever for my noodles and when they arrived, I dug in without looking too closely at the meat. I have not knowingly eaten beef in 20+ years, but as soon as I felt the gristly texture and flavor in my mouth, I knew something was wrong. I called the server over and asked what kind of meat it was, reminding him I’d asked for mock duck. He looked at the plate and took it to the kitchen. I watched him confer with the cooks, then he came back and offered to remake it. At this point I’m already 45 minutes into my lunch break and starving, so I agreed. The mock duck noodles I received were actually ok. When I asked for the check, he brought it over. I asked if anything could be done, given that he’d served me BEEF when I’d ordered a vegetarian dish, and he went back to confer with someone else behind the counter. He came back to the table and said “I’m sorry but we can’t do anything in the computer, I can give you the owner’s phone number though.”It’s completely unacceptable that service staff is not empowered to make these decisions. I was in no way looking for free food here, but even a gesture of a dessert, a drink, a coupon for next time… ANY acknowledgment of how royally they screwed up by serving a customer meat they didn’t order would have been appreciated. I gave two stars because this was my second visit, and the food actually wasn’t terrible the first time.Unfortunately, I will never return, not worth the risk of being given beef again. Imagine if this happened to a strict vegetarian. I would also avoid if you have any serious food allergies, since the kitchen is clearly not being careful. To the owner, if you’re reading this: it’s an absolute shame that you don’t allow your employees to resolve guest service issues like this. Horrible business practices. I rarely leave negative reviews, and this one could have been avoided with even the smallest acknowledgment or apology.
June 19 · Emerald LucasI love this place. Been coming here for 7 or 8 years. Lunch specials are great; dinner can be pricey, but 1) they give larger portions than lunch and 2) it's Manhattan. I've put a bunch of coworkers and family onto this place. Honestly, everything I've ordered has been good: Massaman curry, Bangkok noodles, drunken noodles, pineapple fried rice, curry puffs, fried tofu... all of it. Highly recommend this spot.
